  5. Vehicle Manager system for fleets of trucks and/or other types of vehicles was
  6. written according to the ATA (American Trucking Assoc.) standards for
  7. preventative maintenance. Main menu options include System Setup, Tires Menu,
  8. Preventative Maintenance Service, and Fuel/0il and Parts Inventory (optional).
  9. You set PM to be done at a certain number of days or miles. When a work order
  10. is processed, a repair record is built for each vehicle and the entire fleet.
  11. Any parts used are deducted from your inventory. Vehicle Manager monitors
  12. capabilities on total repair costs by component, and fuel/oil usage over your
  13. fleet for easy spotting of problem areas. It allows you to control your fleet
  14. and eliminate unnecessary and expensive repairs. When properly used, it can
  15. reduce your operating cost substantially penny per mile.
